The End-to-End: Land's End to John O'Groats or Vice-Versa

The following considerations, in no particular order, are offered to enable you to decide on how you can best complete the end-to-end in the most appropriate way for you. You can find out more from these resources although I would welcome your comments if I have missed something that would have helped you to decide to undertake one of these epic journeys.

You will need to balance Time, how much you have available, against Distance, how long a route you wish to take, and consider Speed and riding style. I outline some of these issues here.

Deciding which direction to go in, how to get to and from your start and finish point, and what types of accommodation to use are discussed here.

You will need to consider what sort of cycle to use and what to take, my notes are here.

Maps are an item we would recommend you take, my advice is here.

And finally, a word about fitness can be found here.

If you want to check out other sources of information, or maybe buy a book, I've compiled an annotated list of references here.

Oh! I nearly forgot, the place for inspiration.
